Cooper Rodgers, M.D. grew up in the Kansas City Area and attended Blue Valley North High School. He attended the University of Florida on a National Merit Scholarship and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Cooper returned to the Kansas City Area to study medicine at the University of Kansas where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Rodgers completed a one-year internship at the University of Florida- Shands Hospital where he helped care for critically ill patients at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida where he had the privilege of caring for US Veterans and serving as a refractive surgeon for active airmen and sailors at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL.

Dr. Rodgers' main interest is in cataract and refractive surgery. He also has expertise in functional blepharoplasty, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and injection treatments for retinal conditions.

In his spare time, Dr. Rodgers enjoys running, weightlifting, kayaking, and Chiefs football. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to return to the Kansas City Area, serve his community and provide a high level of compassionate and competent care to his patients.
