Wavefront technology is latest breakthrough in refractive surgery. Originally developed by astrophysicists to perfect telescopes, this technology measures all the imperfections in an optical system and corrects for them. This technology has since been applied to measuring all of the eye's imperfections. We are now using this technology to help guide the laser treatment during LASIK eye surgery.

The main difference between Wavefront LASIK and Standard LASIK is the laser shaping step. The Wavefront guided treatment is a more customized treatment aiming to correct all the aberrations in your eyes.
