How is the recovery from surgery?

Most patients recover good vision within a couple days after surgery. Speed of recovery can vary due to the degree of cataract and whether any other condition is present that limits vision. It’s important that patients follow the appropriate medication schedule and report any significant problems after surgery. It is not normal to have extreme pain, extreme redness, or a significant drop in vision at any time. Please contact your doctor if any significant changes occur immediately after surgery.
